Mr. Terry Lizer is a former teacher at Bridgeton Middle School. He is a seemingly brilliant and well-spoken man, but is actually very rude and condescending to his co-workers (mainly Coach Steve). He is also very misogynistic and rather creepy as well, being known to disrespect female students and occasionally make brief but very noticeable sexual passes at a number of them, some of which were off-screen. He first appeared in "Everybody Bleeds" and made his final major appearance in "Disclosure the Movie: The Musical!", where he was fired. He is voiced by Rob Huebel.
Biography[]
In "Everybody Bleeds", Mr. Lizer was one of the teachers that went on the field trip to The Statue of Liberty. He was very rude to Coach Steve the entire time, calling him out on his stupidity every time he said something stupid. He educated people on the history of The Statue of Liberty, explaining how it was created by the French and then given to America. He also mentioned the history of Thanksgiving and talked about how that day is practically a celebration of how white people caused a Native American genocide and stole their land. Lola swooned over Mr. Lizer and talked about how dreamy he was.
In "Girls Are Horny Too", Jessi went to school wearing the Mega Volumizer to get attention from the boys. However, she also got attention from Mr. Lizer, which really disturbed her.
In "What Is It About Boobs?", Mr. Lizer patrols the lunchroom and is seen staring at a few underage girls. Coach Steve comes in and asks him some questions about sex, which Mr. Lizer laughs at him for. Coach Steve says that he's never had sex before and Mr. Lizer laughs, saying that he's not surprised and that he enjoys the tasteful irony of the sex-ed teacher being a virgin.
In "Girls Are Angry Too", Mr. Lizer stops the slut walk and punishes all the girls for dressing the way they are. He sends all the slutty girls to go into his room and also instructs them to not change out of their slutty clothes.
In "Rankings", Lola admitted that she thought Mr. Lizer was hot enough to put on her list of hot guys, much to the disgust of the other girls.
In "The ASSes", Mr. Lizer monitored the ASSes. When Jessi asked for more time to take the test, Mr. Lizer got annoyed and cussed at her under his breath, saying that he hates her and wishes she would wake up deaf and blind.
In "Disclosure the Movie: The Musical!", Terry makes musical adaption of Disclosure, which has a satirical message about sexual harassment against men. Jessi hated this because of how it made a mockery of real sexual harassment and Gina, Ali, and Matthew also had their own qualms with the script including racial stereotypes and misogynistic implications, so they quit the play. While working on the play, Terry starts an inappropriate relationship with Lola Skumpy, which involves her massaging his feet. Andrew witnesses this happening and tells Jessi about it. Before long, this becomes widespread news and Lola is encouraged to speak out against Terry for sexually harassing her. On the night of the play, it gets cancelled and Principal Barron publicly fires Terry in front of the entire audience of the students' parents. Terry insults the others and complains, saying that he never got a blowjob from Lola. Lola opens a trap door under him and Terry falls in and painfully hurts himself and even cuts his dick open on live television. From this episode on, Terry Lizer was officially fired from Bridgeton Middle School, never to return again.
In "The New Me", Mr. Lizer appeared during the recap of Season 3, with Lola holding his bare feet and singing about how she got sexually harassed.
In "The Green-Eyed Monster", Lola was very disappointed when Dillan Keating was fired and said that he was the first teacher who liked her and didn't want to have sex with her. This was an indirect reference to her past with being sexually harassed by Mr. Lizer, the only other teacher who ever liked her.
Appearance[]
Terry Lizer is a middle aged man of likely some German descent, given his last name. He is of about average build with slightly olive skin, medium brown hair, brown eyes, and a five-o'clock shadow. He most often seen wearing a fix button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up past his elbows, a leather belt, skinny jeans, and medium heeled leather boots.
Personality[]
While publicly presenting himself as a college educated liberal and an outspoken male feminist, this is a mere a ruse for Lizer's true nature as a sexual predator. Using this public image as "the cool teacher", he manages to fool almost everyone, including the adults, up until he is publicly outed. He is likely sexually repressed, if not emotionally stunted, hence why he is sexually attracted to early adolescent girls and not women his own age. This could be hinted at by the fact that he still has issues with his hormones, even as an adult. He is also manipulative, usiing victim-blaming tactics in an attempt to cover his tracks, like he did with Lola, and could even be considered delusional. He was horrified at the mutilation of his genitals, though it is unknown at this time how this injury will affect his predatory nature, as he has, in a way "lost his equipment" after falling through the trap door.
