Malala Yousavzai is a Pakistani Indian feminist girl who got shot in the face for reading a book, making her famous. She appeared as a cardboard cutout in "I Survived Jessi's Bat Mitzvah".
Biography[]
In "I Survived Jessi's Bat Mitzvah", there were a bunch of cardboard cutouts of famous women at Jessi's bat mitzvah. Lola wondered who she was and Matthew told her that she was just this Indian girl who got shot in the face for reading, making her famous. Lola envied Malala's luck and called her "Lucky Malala". Sharing her contempt, Matthew agreed with her notion that stupid Malala was so privileged and lucky, and said that many people were calling her "Lucky Malala" because of how easily life has treated her. Later in the episode, Lola was fighting with an old Jewish woman for the cardboard cutout of Malala.
In "The ASSes", Jessi read a blog on Malala, saying that Malala didn't make it into Yale because she didn't have enough extra-curriculars.
