Rita St. Swithens is a female shame wizard feminist-icon to the shame wizard community. She made her debut on Human Resources in season 1 episode Bad Mummies, and later appeared on Big Mouth's season 6 episode Vagina Shame. Biography[]
Rita first appeared in the spin-off series "Human Resources" in the third episode "Bad Mummies". She was seen giving a conference about women's shame. She is later seen signing books and later ignoring her son, Lionel. It is shown later in the episode that she has sexual relations with Kitty Dukakis, a depression kitty working in the depression division. This made her son jealous, and he cried that she was "Shameless". Eventually, Rita felt pitiful and signed Lionel's copy, but said that she wouldn't be shaming him because she loves him, but because she was his mother.
She later appeared in the parent show "Big Mouth" in the season 6 episode "Vagina Shame". She was the narrator for the episode, focusing on many of the female characters. This included Jessi Glaser getting an infection from wearing her leggings too long, Lola Ugfuglio Skumpy for having long pubes, Missy Foreman-Greenwald for not getting her period like everyone else, and Kaitlyn Grafton for having CPD (Cephalopelvic disproportion) and therefore needing a C-Section.
Personality[]
"These can feel like troubling times for we Shame Wizards who serve women. 'Body positivity.' 'Self-love.' 'Pay equity.' We wonder, is female shame a thing of the past?"
-Rita St. Swithens at a Women in Shame conference.
Rita is a cynical, apathetic and misogynistic shame wizard. She can often be seen shaming human women for their image, body, and how they act, often driving them to tears. She can be a selfish mother to Lionel as she coldly ignored him in favor of Kitty Dukakis, as Kitty often has sex with her. She takes immense pleasure in seeing humans suffer, unlike her son, showing no empathy for humanity.
