There, Nathan told Missy that he was in love with her but also wanted to stay best friends with her at the same time. Missy was flustered at Nathan's beautiful words, as the hunk of a man continued to tell her that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, solving space crimes, doing homework, and listening to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! but first, they danced the merengue because Nathan Fillion has been to Latin America and understands their culture. Missy and Nathan then kissed each other on the lips only for Missy's fantasy to end and for her to find out that she was making out with Jessi's Dog. Devin and Lola recorded her making out with her dog and made fun of her for it. At the end of the episode, all the girls at the sleepover watched Nathan Fillion in Castle, specifically the episode "The Dead Pool". Greg watched the show, stoned out of his mind with Jessi's dog and hallucinated him as Nathan Fillion, telling him that they shot the very scene they were watching day-for-night L.A. from New York.
In "The Planned Parenthood Show", Missy explained how abortions worked with a story called "The Vagilantes", where she was the captain of a space ship, where Nathan Fillion worked as one of her teammates. Nathan Fillion argued with Andrew over who got to go into the woman's vagina to abort her baby but Captain Missy volunteered.
