Becca Lee is a major character from Human Resources. She used to have Sonya as a lovebug before the latter's job was terminated. Since then, Emmy has been her new lovebug. Becca is a new mom, who struggles to take care of her newborn baby, Jake. She is married to Barry and works as a lawyer. She first appeared in "Birth". She is voiced by Ali Wong.

Biography[]

Becca Lee met Barry in college and the two of them fell in love, which is how Becca first got assigned her lovebug, Sonya Poinsettia, who helped her through this wonderful relationship. Becca and Barry eventually got married. For some reason, Becca's dad didn't show up for their wedding, which made Becca really sad, since she had nobody to help walk her down the aisle. Fortunately, Barry walked her down the aisle for her, which was a really sweet gesture that she appreciated a lot.

As a married couple, Becca and Barry were young, restless, and free. Eventually, Becca got pregnant with a baby but she didn't plan for this baby to weigh her down.

While she was pregnant, Becca went to a baby prep doctor named Claudia, who helped her to a bunch of yoga and meditation to help her through her pregnancy and prepare for the birth of her baby. However, her lovebug, Sonya fell in love with Claudia and started a relationship with her. Sonya also tried to convince Becca to dump Barry for Claudia but Becca refused. Sonya's inappropriate behavior got her fired as Becca's lovebug and in the episode "Birth", she was introduced to her replacement lovebug, Emmy Fairfax. Becca was not happy with this new lovebug, since, despite her faults, Sonya was better and Emmy was a lackluster lovebug.

Later in that same episode, Becca went into labor and was rushed to the hospital, where Emmy was able to get her shit together and give her some motivational words until she gave birth to Jake. Becca's reaction to Jake was rather underwhelmed as her first comment on Jake was that he looked weird. This got her a visit from Lionel, who called her a shitty mother for talking this way about her baby. Nevertheless, Becca had officially had a baby and this was a great moment in life for her. As Emmy gets better at her job after understanding Becca's situation more, Becca also gets better at taking care of her infant son and manages to get her marriage back on track after going through a phase were she considered divorcing Barry.
